Story of Land Mine detection Robot
The landmine detection robot's journey was equally remarkable. This time, the competition was held in Japan, and the theme was straightforward. The team started strong, building a track-based robot with a wooden structure. Safwan and Josfin focused on the mechanical design, while Abhinav developed a TinyML model for landmine detection. Vishnu handled the software, Jerom created the business outline, and Zain contributed across all areas, making it a true team effort. Their hard work paid off when Zain and Vishnu were selected for the final round. Despite feeling exhausted and oversleeping before the competition, Bos Sir motivated them to attend the PPT presentation, which went flawlessly. The live demonstration also went smoothly, though they had little hope of winning due to tough competition and advanced rival robots. After two days of conferences, the results were announced. To their shock, they won first prize! Zain was overjoyed, and the entire IEEE Kerala Section and their college celebrated their achievement. The team's disbelief and excitement were evident, marking a proud and unforgettable moment.
